I Have A Gift For You!
It Ain’t Much, But It’s All I’ve Got.
As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 1Peter 4:10
I believe we are the living conduit of everything God desires to do in this world, and everything we do and say is important. We might do good, we might do bad, or we might do what seems to us inconsequential, but in God’s eyes and for His purpose, everything we do and say, He will use toward His ultimate goals. Nothing is by accident.
I am convinced that each of us is on this earth to serve God, and we will do so willingly or, in some cases, unwillingly. One might think He is a nonbeliever, and refuse to even acknowledge God, but even in so doing, he is ultimately contributing to the will and purpose of God.
Each morning I send out an encouragement I’ve written, and I hope each day at least one of the people receiving it is touched by it. By reaching out to this group of people—a mere handful in the overall scheme of things—I have the opportunity to encourage others, and, perhaps, change the world for the better. This gives me hope, and it gives me a sense I am important to God, and those who receive my encouragements. And that, my friends, is all that really matters.

Every moment, it’s true, and yet it’s so easy to undermine the value of a small choice…. but it’s all the small choices and actions that add up to the mighty stuff. :] xx
