Another Fine Mess!

I talk a good game about having faith, being filled with hope, and about not being afraid, but my follow through isn’t always the best. But one area I can’t even claim to be on track in is in loving others the way I know God wants me to. If I could be filled with God’s love and love others the way He loves me, I would be so busy I wouldn’t have time to think about my silly little problems. Unfortunately, I am just silly old me, and I need His help quite often. More often than not, to fix a mess I’ve gotten myself into.
But then, that’s why He’s God, and I’m just one of His children. I am so grateful He never gives up on me and is always there when I need Him. Truth be known, He’s there when I don’t need Him, too.
I’m going to keep focusing on God and I know He’ll get me shaped up one of these days. In the meantime, y’all be patient with me, please.

I hadn’t heard from you for awhile, and we were just talking about you and Billy Sunday morning, wondering how you are doing. We know times have been trying out there for several months, and hope things will get back to normal for you soon.
