Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah…
Is that what I sound like?
Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things. 2Timothy 2:7
I’ve been writing and sharing these daily encouragements for over three years; first by sending them to friends and family via email, and now primarily through my blog. The blog has given me a better view of how the encouragements are received, because I can see how many times the daily encouragement has been read, and folks are able to comment.
It’s interesting though, how people come and go. I seem to always have a new number one fan; that one person who is excited about everything I write and comments every day. Then—and this seems to happen suddenly—they’re gone. Poof! And, of course, one of the first things I think is, “Was it something I said?”
But, I’ve learned not to concern myself with that aspect of things either. People will come, and people will go, and if nothing else, I might have planted a seed that will grow into something good somewhere down the road.
What I have to say won’t be for everybody, and at some point, it might start to sound like I’m repeating myself and become boring. If/when that happens I encourage you to find other good daily devotionals to read.
I simply want you to be encouraged, and I surely don’t mind if you get your encouragement from someone else!

Hello Charlie…..Always it is good and uplifting to read your “marbles”. Thank you for your dedication to this ministry. We just returned from a 50th anniversary (us) Disney Cruise with our kids and grandkids. It was wonderful….and I mean wonderful. I will be going to Ms. this coming weekend to be Grandma to three grands. They had been on the cruise also. And just an FYI….in case I had told you that I had been asked to author another book on Buckeye. LEGENDARY LOCALS. First said yes, but now it is no (for now). Jackie and I want to spend more time visiting folks in between his mayoral duties. He has four more years now. Again, Thank You……for your MARBLES. Always in Buckeye, Verlyne Meck

Hey Verlyne!
You’re the second unexpected visitor today! I guess I should change the name of my blog to Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah! It seems to get everyone’s attention!
I think you made the right decision on the book; family is much more important!
Thank you for the visit, and God bless you, Jackie, and your wonderful family!

What we need to hear today, may not be needed next week. God has His own timeline and knows when (and where) we need to hear something.

Your words are encouraging and I am not always comment. Today when I read the “Blah, blah, blah”, I thought it would be a story or cartoon about a dog or cat. Sorry.
You know me.

Well, it sure could’ve been!

I don’t always comment or “Like” but trust me, Charles, if you’re writing ‘em, I’m reading ‘em. Keep ‘em coming!

I knew dat!
Thanks, Raivenne!

Blessed by your words.
Seasons DO change and we can’t take it personal.
God knows what we need, when we need it.
Thank for hearing His Voice and sharing it here.

I’m glad you’re blessed, seasons definitely change, and it’s not abut me. I’m just trying to do what I can, while I can.
Thank you for all your encouragement and support, Deborah. It means a lot to me!
