Oh Boy, Oh Boy, Oh Boy!

Here comes another day!

Dear friends let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 1 John 4:7

This verse is again saying quite simply that God is love. All love comes from God, and if we love God, we are born of Him—chosen by Him—and we know Him. In short, we love God because He first loved us.

I believe John is saying if we love God, we will love others. It will be an automatic action that comes from within us. God fills us with His love, and it shows in our actions and attitudes toward those around us.

When we awake each morning, and our first thought is how much God loves us and how much we love Him, how can we not be excited about the day to come? I think if we start each day with that kind of thought, we will carry it with us all day long and our joy and love will exude outward toward all those we come in contact with.

Let us love one another.
