The Sovereign Lord has given me an instructed tongue, to know the word that sustains the weary. He awakens me morning by morning, wakens my ear to listen like one being taught. Isaiah 50:4

In this morning’s Daily Encouragement I said, “I get up early—sometimes so early it worries Sherry—and I am almost always excited to start my day here at this desk, pounding these keys. I am most excited when I write these encouragements.”

When it comes to choosing the path we will follow in this lifetime, most people tend to take the easy road because there are so many things more appealing to our carnal minds and bodies on that path.
