One More Day to Make A Difference!

Earlier this morning, I posted a tongue in cheek declaration, proclaiming today to be National Today Day. It received tremendous readership, and a few comments. I thought this comment from my dear friend, Binnie Seymour, was worth sharing, and she gave me permission to pass it on to y’all. She says it all quite completely, and quite well. Thanks, Binnie!

Yes Charlie, today is today and Praise the Lord as we will have one more

day to make a difference. I will be grateful for the twenty four hours

that are before me. Time is a precious commodity, so I will refuse to

allow what little time I have to be contaminated by self-pity, anxiety, or

boredom. I will face this day with the joy of a child and the courage of a

giant. I will drink each minute a though it may be my last, as it very

well might be. When tomorrow comes, today will be gone forever. While it

is here, I will use it by controlling my thoughts, I will be happy and

hopeful and refuse to be victimized by my circumstances. I will avoid

negativism. Optimism will be my companion, and victory will be my hallmark

because I shall never pass this way again. May you have a wonderful Today

and today may you make a difference………..Blessings, Binnie
