Had an awesome day today; did lots of writing, so that always makes for a good day. When I’m writing, I feel like I’m doing what I was meant to do; like I’m where I’m supposed to be. Until I began to write—especially since I began writing full time—I never felt that way about what I was doing. I actually felt lost sometimes.
But I feel like I’m at home now. I feel like I’m where God wants me to be and doing what He wants me to do. I love to write, and hope those who read what I write enjoy it. But I trust that God puts what I write in front of those He wants to read it. I used to worry about a lot of stuff like who read what, and what they thought of it, but not anymore. I just do the best I can every day, and leave the rest to Him. Because after all…. I’m just the pencil.
