I’m Your Huckleberry ~ 7-29-11

From today’s Daily Encouragement:

We are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10

That’s what I’m talking about! Here’s the thing that amazes me most: He created me just as I am, flaws and all. He could have made me look like a movie star, made me as smart as Einstein and as strong as Hercules, but He already had some of those kinds of folks, and He needed me to be me.

Do any of you know how much fun it is being me? I mean, I don’t want to sound like I’m boasting, but I love being me. I’m a chunk of coal, a blemished vessel, a box of rocks, you name it; I’m nothing special, but I like who, and what, I am. And the thing I like best is it’s getting better all the time.

I think this is one of the keys to happiness—being content with who, and what, God made you to be.

Oh, by the way, I like each one of you just like you are, too!

Thank you Charlie. God made each one of us unique. Sometimes I lose my way and have to remind myself to be content for I know that God loves me and created “me” for who I am. Thank you for your words; your outlook is contageous. I think I can speak for others as well by saying “we like you just the way you are too”.

    • Yes’m. He created each of just as we are and for a unique purpose. It wouldn’t be much fun if we were all the same. Actually, it would be really weird.
Your comments bless me, dear friend. I’m so glad you spend a little time with me each day!

    • That’s what I’m talkin about! Glad you agree, and glad you stopped by. Thanks for the read and comment!
