I’m Your Huckleberry ~ 7-31-11

When I decided to publish Be Still… and know that I am God, I didn’t do it with the intent of selling thousands of books and making a bunch of money. I did it for no other reason than to honor my mother, and give the book to her as a show of my tremendous love, respect and appreciation for her.

One thing has led to another, and somewhere along the way I was convinced a blog would be beneficial in promoting the book. My publisher had already set one up for me, and after a friend encouraged me to do so, I (reluctantly) dove into the world of blogging.

I love it! It hasn’t greatly increased the popularity or sales of my book, but it has helped some, and maybe as my blog audience grows, things will start to pick up. Even if it doesn’t, I am meeting lots of great people from all walks of life, all over this country and the world. It is an awesome experience!

I appreciate each one of you that visits my blog, and I hope you will stop by now and then to see what’s going on at Marbles in My Pocket.

God bless you all!

What a wonderful way for you to not only share your gift, your ministry through Daily Encouragement and keep you in contact with friends. Being an author can keep you isolated and this at least helps get you out there with old and new friends. Thank you for all you words. They mean a lot to me even if I do not get to read them everyday. I catch up when I have time.

    • I consider myself blessed and honored to be able to share my simple thoughts of encouragemeent with so many wonderful people. I realize not everyone can read everything I write, but just knowing that once in awhile I touch another heart… how much more awesome can life be?
I appreciate your wonderful, kind words, Faye. You bless me!
