Here’s something you don’t see often; baking tips from the kitchen of yours truly! But! I am compelled to share this little discovery with y’all! Now, granted, it might not be anything new, but it’s new to me, so gimme some slack. I call my new tasty treat the “Nut House Cookie”!
It’s really very simple, and as I hinted above, I’m sure it’s nothing new; I simply use the Toll House cookie recipe on the back of the Nestle’s chocolate chips bag, but I leave out the chocolate chips and add more nuts! Thus the name, “Nut House Cookies”.
I’ve so far tried them with walnuts and pecans, but I’m thinking you could use any kind of nut you prefer. I’m considering trying salted peanuts. Get that salty-sweet thang goin. And how about, salted pecans. Ooooooo!
Anyway, give it a try. They are deeeeelicious, no matter what kind of nut you are… I mean use. (I resemble that remark!)
