It’s All Good! ~ December 25

It’s All Good!

What more can we hope for?

For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he already has? But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently. Romans 8:24-25

What do you hope for? Love, peace, health, wealth? All of those things? Sure you do. You’re only human. But I’ve found that when our hopes are combined with our faith, the things we hope for seem to find their way to us.

I think what actually happens is the things we hope for get switched around. What we hoped for most in the past becomes less important, and the things that weren’t so important in the past move to the top of our list.

When I look at the four things I listed in the paragraph above, I think I accidently got them in the right order. Love is the thing we hope for the most; we all need to be loved, and I think we are all much happier when we have someone to love. I’ve come to find there is no greater joy than to do something that makes someone we love happy.

I have accepted God’s love, and He has blessed me with an abundance of it. I am at peace because of His love. I am healthy because I believe He keeps me healthy. As for wealth: He supplies all I need and more. What I don’t have, I can wait patiently for.

It’s all good!
