Faith will not be necessary in heaven for we will be with God, and our every need will be fulfilled. Hope will, likewise become unnecessary, because when we are with God, what will be left to hope for?
But, in heaven, love will remain and, in fact, I think maybe heaven is love.
God is love; and therefore, wherever He is love exists and all else is inconsequential. Heaven can be no less than perfect. Love will permeate and be the very essence of it. There will be no partial love; no love held back; no love based on feel, or glance, or want. Love will be made perfect and be done without thought. This, I conclude, is the love of God and it is what we hope for while on this earth. In heaven, every thought and action will be love.
The greatest of these is love, simply because God is love, and there is no doubt He is the greatest. It’s that simple.
