Are We Done Here?

Obviously, the answer is no!

For I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, “Do not fear, I will help you.”            Isaiah 41:13

As a young man, I was afraid of nothing and rebelled at everything. I can cite lots of reasons for why I was the way I was, but suffice it to say circumstances and the times were large contributors.

I was wild and unafraid back then and actually made the statement, more than once, that I didn’t think I’d live to see my 21^st birthday. I lived life like there would be no tomorrow, and up until a few years ago, I remained amazed I was still standing. Then one day God took hold of my hand and said, “Do not fear, I will help you.”

It was not a lightning bolt experience; it didn’t happen all of a sudden. I wasn’t even looking for help. It just began to happen and continues to evolve on a daily basis. One thing I have learned is God has a plan, and I’m in it. He’s using me in His plan, and he will decide when my time on this earth is done. The most awesome part of it all is God loved me and had His hand out to me all my life. All I had to do was put my hand in His and let Him help me.
