Let Go! ~ February 26

Let Go!

You’ll be surprised how good it feels!

Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you. 2 Thessalonians 3:16

Peace is letting go of all your wants, regrets and longings. When we finally realize our struggling, our inner wars, will gain us nothing and learn to hand over our cares to God, we will find peace. He is peace.

Peace is a fleeting thing to most of us. We can be at peace one moment, only to have it jerked from us by some occurrence or a wayward thought. Our minds are so packed with thoughts of our daily duties and challenges it’s a wonder we have any peace at all.

I’m most at peace in these early mornings as I write these encouragements, because in these quiet times, I am alone with God.

Sadly, when I leave my desk and go into the day, I sometimes leave my peace in my office. Too often, the things of the world slowly drain me of the peace and presence of God. Someday, soon I hope, I will walk through each day with peace in every way at all times. I believe that, and I wish it for all of you as well.

  1. AMEN!
