Foobaw 2013 ~ Day Six!
White Lines and Wheat Fields!
The morning of day six found us in eastern Washington, and all we could see for miles was white lines and wheat fields.
Sherry seems fine. The window incident from yesterday seems to have done no serious harm. Although, she does do this irritating chihuahua imitation every time her phone rings. I don’t think that’s normal.
Arrived in Cashmere on schedule, and got all the car bidness taken care of with no trouble; even fixed the gas gauge! That Bill is a handy guy!
Then we did a little grocery shoppin’, went to Bill’s, fired up the grill, and cooked corn on the cob, some giant ribeye steaks, and garlic bread. And, of course, we had to have a few Henry Weinhard’s Private Reserve while we cooked; pretty good beer, but it ain’t Shiner!
Bill was quite relieved to see that we hadn’t given away all his apple butter, and when Nathan saw the two cases of homemade jam, he immediately informed his mom they were low on peanut butter.
The day six schedule will be laid back (with as little driving as possible, thank you very much!); the highlight being the big game tonight. We can’t wait to see Nathan in action!

Better get your Butt back to the store and get the fixings to replenish all the cookies and bread you ate on the road. Here is a hint, walk to the store after eating all those treats and sitting on your Butt driving, the walk will do you good!
Hey to everyone and Good Luck to Nathan and his team mates. Go Dawgs! Trevor coming home for the game or is he too busy working on his freshman 15? Cheers Ken
