A Case of Hearts ~ the poem

I’ve been very busy moving and getting settled for the last couple of months, and so I haven’t written much of anything, and as a result haven’t posted anything on my favorite poetry and/or writing sites. One of my favorite sites is dVerse Poets Pub, so I’m posting this one there.

A Case of Hearts

When the world comes crashing down

And life is full of fear and doubt

Can a penny on the sidewalk

Mean things will all work out

When things go from bad to worse

We must fight on and keep our faith strong

Believing all will turn out right

Even when things seem so wrong

For darkness can’t hide the light

Of God’s love and His great plan

And when all is said and done

It’s in God’s hands, not man’s

So, when dark hours are upon you

Just remember the dawn always starts

And with God’s angels as our jury

We will always win in A Case of Hearts

Good poem, sweetie! I enjoyed the book, too. It’s a good story.

  2. hey brother….good to see you…so are you a bit more settled now?
and yes it is often darkest before the dawn…the great promise though is that life and light are coming.
    if we keep moving on…

    • Let’s just say the to-do list is a bit shorter. Still lots to do, but I’m lovin every minute of it!
Ain’t no dark here, bro; it’s sunshine and lollipops far as I can see!

  3. When all seem dark – there’s always some hope.. even a penny… maybe the tipping point.

  4. Such a lovely and uplifting piece. Just what I needed to read! Thanks for sharing.

A penny for your thoughts..some lovely ones here as hope resides even when darkness lurks.

    • hmmm… I don’t know if I can sell em that cheap! But, thanks for stopping by!

  8. A penny is a good omen and an invitation for thoughts.
