We Can’t Snow Ski in Summer

Timing is everything

There is a time for everything, and a season for everything under heaven. Ecclesiastes 3:1

When we sets out to achieve something, we must take into account all things involved and start when conditions are optimum, if optimum success is to be achieved. Poor timing—acting on a situation when conditions are not right—can, and usually does, result in failure, or, at the very least, lesser results.

When we focus on God and follow the instincts of His spirit within us, our timing will improve. When we’re being led by the spirit, we’re in tune with, and following, God’s perfect plan, and are no longer making judgments based on outward conditions, but on Godly intuition and guidance. That’s not to say we shouldn’t be aware of the obvious worldly conditions, but merely to say, with God’s guidance, the adverse and positive effects of all things pertinent to the situation will be much clearer and more evident as to their value.

I believe everything that happens is allowed to happen by God. Even when evil men plot their evil deeds, I believe the results will ultimately lead to the fulfillment of God’s plan, and even when good men fail or suffer, I believe God is still in control. Many times it appears bad is being victorious over good, and this may be true for a time, but I assure you, it will not end up that way. Good will triumph in the end—when it is time.
