The Fall Won’t Hurt A Bit

But the sudden stop will!

And a time to hate. Ecclesiastes 3:8

Is there a time to hate? I am certain there is a time to love, and it’s all the time, but when is it a time to hate?

Satan will use everything at his disposal to bring down the house of God, and he represents all that is contrary to God. Satan is, therefore, the opposite of love—more than that, the utter absence of love—which in my mind equates to hate. I suppose there is middle ground, but to try and walk the line between love and hate is a high-wire act that is bound to end badly, especially when you are dealing with the master deceiver. He has a way of subtly convincing us we don’t really need that pole to keep our balance; and, hey, it’s not that far down, and it won’t hurt that much.

Yes, there is a time to hate. If it is of Satan, hate it! If it is of Satan, get away from it!
