Turn It Off

“Back in the day”, many TV shows proudly displayed wholesome family values, but theTurn it off trend now seems to be to mock and make fun of what we once took pride in and sought to emulate.

It is possible to find God based programs on TV, but they probably amount to less than one percent of what’s available each day. My solution: Turn it off.

Some will say it’s merely “mindless” entertainment, and I agree. (It will definitely make us mindless if we watch too much of it.) I recommend focusing on the good stuff. At least when we do that, if we go crazy, it’ll be crazy good!

Nevertheless there are good things found in you, in that you have taken away the idol poles out of the land, and have prepared your heart to seek God. 2Chronicals 19:3
