Insurance is the world’s version of faith, and many have become convinced insurance is not merely advisable, but necessary, accepting the premise we must pay in advance for any calamities that might come upon us.
Most will, in some way, justify this thinking, but the fact is, the reason for insurance—of any kind—is fear; fear we won’t have enough money to pay for a check-up, an operation, or even the pills they say we need.
I firmly believe I don’t need insurance, and the only reason I have insurance of any kind is because the government forces me to buy it. Call me a fool, but I believe God will provide. (period!)
That, is my insurance!
Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5
