I recently remarked, “I hardly ever hurt anyone anymore,” but I have to admit it’s not really true. The fact is, I still hurt people and, to my dismay, I do it too often. And, more often than not, it hurts me as much, or more, than it does them.
I share my thoughts with you—confess in a way—and I hope by pointing out my shortcomings, I will encourage others to not make the mistakes I’ve made. But more than that, I hope I encourage folks to turn to God—even if only for the few minutes it takes to read my simple words—and realize how much He loves them.
As for hardly ever hurting anyone, let’s just say, I don’t intend to, and when I do, I am truly sorry.
