Doing the Right Thing

Many times, we worry and wonder if what we’re doing is the right thing. We start thinking our jobs or even our very lives are meaningless. It sometimes seems we’re just spinning our wheels in a world gone mad.

PD 38 - quote

But if we set our hearts and minds on God, and do what we know is the right thing to do, I believe we will do God’s will, even in the smallest things we do throughout our day. And the more we focus on Him, the more we will know we are indeed a part of His large and wonderful plan.

Do the best you can every day, stay focused on God, and let Him take care of the details. When we do the right thing, we can’t go wrong. Yes, it’s as simple as that.

Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: Philippians 1:6

Good timing on this one Bro! Thanks for the lift. Cheers Ken

    • It blesses me to know I’ve encouraged you, Ken. I assume you’re going through the same daily struggles I am; wondering sometimes, “what’s the use” or something similar. It seems the world has lost its collective mind, and the path ahead is often blurred. But, as you know, I firmly believe that God is in charge, and if our focus is on Him–His love for us, and ours for Him–we will do what He would have us do. And, as I say often, it really is that simple. And, when we set our eyes on Him we will know peace and joy beyond this world’s understanding, in spite of all that’s going on around us. Love you, brother.
