I’d Like A Second Opinion!

In the story, The Old Man And The Tree, I told you about my logging career in the great Northwest that ended when a huge fir tree fell on my leg. I spent over two years in casts and on crutches, and never went back to work in the “woods”.

I left out part of the story though; the part where after six weeks, the “company” doctor declared my leg healed and released me to return to work. Read the rest of this entry »
