Start-Overs

When we’re tired physically, mentally, or spiritually, we make mistakes and our judgement is not at its best. That’s when we need to turn to God and give our burdens to Him.

Begin anew each day. Put the past behind, the future on hold, and start the day with hope.

May 7 clouds quote

But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31

Ready, Set, GO!

When we waste our days—sometimes years—doing harm to ourselves and others, there is no do-over. But! There is “start over”. No matter how many times we fail, we can always turn to God and begin anew. He never gives up on us, and no matter how terrifying the things are that want to lure us back to their den, we can walk away and do so without fear of them.

5-6-17 3 quote

Whatever demons might be chasing you:

“Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and I will rescue you,” declares the Lord. Jeremiah 1:8

Maybe I’ve Got Time

Do you ever think about an old friend, and wonder what happened to them; where they are now? Do you wonder why you lost touch with them; why they didn’t care about you enough to stay in touch, and remain a part of your life? I do, and it usually comes down to the fact I didn’t care enough to try to remain a part of theirs. It’s one of those things I tend to beat myself up about. Maybe I’ve got time to fix it.
