We’re So Broke We Can’t Pay Attention

I’m somewhere between mad and tears as I push aside worn shirts looking for my suit. If there’s anything I hate more than going to these silly affairs, it’s wearing a suit and tie. That’s the reason for the mad—and I’ll get over it—but, as for the tears; well, as usual, it’s about money—as in the lack of same. We’re so broke we can’t pay attention.
